What is a Image editing software, and what can you create using them?

Hey welcome back it's Chris from Equalize Designz and today I'm talk about what are image editing software’s and what you can create using them. Image editing software’s allow you to create designs and edit photos. There are so many different image-editing software’s out there to that you can use like Photoshop, Corel Studios, and Gimp. While you have to pay for software like Photoshop and Corel studios, Gimp is a free.

When a photo is damaged image-editing software’s are capable of restoring and retouching your photo. Besides editing photos you can also create vector and raster graphics. Vector graphics are based off of paths (paths are lines that are connected to others line using anchor points) and raster graphics are based off of pixels. When using the image editing software’s it is good to understand different shortcuts that apply to different tools and features to make it easier to complete your work. When using these types of software’s it's a idea to understand the interface and get familiar with the tools and workspace. Besides retouching and restoring photos you also create different photo effects and filters.

Most adobe software’s use similar interfaces like Photoshop and Illustrator. Certain image editing software’s like Photoshop allows you to create 3d designs like 3d models and 3d text. Creating 3d designs is very different from creating 2D designs there are dimensions that you have to work with also every time you edit your 3d designs you have render it. In most image editing software’s you're able to create a frame-by-frame animation by using images or designs. When publishing your animation you export as a gif or a mp4. As a graphic and web design company we use Photoshop it really come in handy when working on different projects.
