What Is Creative Block, And How To deal With It?

Hey guys what’s up its Chris from Equalize Designz, today I’m going to be discussing about creative block. Your question what is a creative block? Is when you’re creativity is at a standpoint, (We all have been there) and you can’t come up with anything to creative ideas. As designer’s we all go through this phase either we are working on projects and can’t come up with any designs or we are just clueless of what kind of designs to create. It happens to all of us just as writers have writer’s block we have creative block.

But relax usually when this happens I stop at what I’m working on and take a break. When this happens the best thing to do is to get away and find something else to do. There are so many ways to deal with creative block. One of things you can do is get up and get some fresh air and go for a walk, or work on something else.

The best thing is to get your mind off of the project for a while, dwelling on a project and trying to finish it can be frustrating and time consuming. When you step away from project most likely you will come up with an amazing design rather than still struggling with the project. Take time out and have little quiet time and then before you come back to the project. Do a little research and look for something inspirational that is related to the project I am working on. The reasons why it's good to do a little research is because sometimes it can be inspirational and very helpful with the progress of your project.

So whenever you have a dilemma like creative block

·     Step out of the picture

·     Stay calm do not dwell on the project

·     Take a break and relax

·     Enjoy your creative block is only temporary for a stronger come back
