What's going on viewers, this is Mike from Equalize Designz in this blog post today I'm going explain to you what is heat pressing? The video that is embed with this post will also explain what is heat pressing. Heat pressing is the art of taking a design and heat pressing it on a t-shirt any or other piece of fabric using a machine known as the heat press machine. This machine is designed to press and distribute heat evenly across a garment or fabric when pressure is applied. There are various types of heat press machines on the market with different sizes to choose from depending on the size of the garment you choose.

There are three types of heat press machines automatic, swing away, and clam shell. The automatic heat press automatically releases pressure when timer reaches its count down, a swing away heat press, which allows you to swing the top part of the heat press away for easy removal of the fabric, with the clam shell you are able to apply pressure by pulling down the lever. Most heat press machines they will have temperature and time display, which will have an up and down arrow buttons to adjust the temperature and time. Depending on the material that you are heat pressing you will need to know how hot the heat press needs to be and how long it needs to be press for.

There are various types of material you can heat press on, like dark and light heat transfer papers, also vinyl and flock vinyl. With these different types of heat transfer paper they have there own time limit and temperature when heat pressing.
