What Is a Web Page?

Hey everyone my name is Chris from Equalize Designz and in this blog post today I’m going to explain what is a web page? This video that is embed with this post will also explain what a web page is. So what is a web page, everyday people go on their computer, tablet, and mobile phone and in their browser and put web address in and go to a webpage but they still don’t understand what it really is.
In a browser you have URL (Uniform Resource Locator) where you type in a web address (http://www.yoursite.com) and that will display a webpage.

 So to start off a web page is a page that is viewed on the web, which has information and content for their viewers to view. A basic web page would have text, images, and videos on the page to for the viewers to see. Usually when creating a web page one would have links that would link to and from different pages that would eventually created a website. To also better explain it a webpage usually has a header body and footer.

The header is at the top of the page and has the menu bar with links and also a logo on the top left corner. The body is in the center of the page and has all of information with text images and videos. The footer is at the bottom of the page which has would the have the copyright information social media buttons and privacy and disclaimer links. That’s the basics of a web page; other web pages will have more features such as image slide shows’, shopping carts, and many other various features.
