Setting Up a Screen Printing Machine

Hey guys today we are going to do something a little different screen printing machine. What's up everyone my name is Chris from Equalize Designz and in this post I will be unboxing and setting up my screen printing machine. With this blog post I have a youtube video embedded where I show everything that's in the box. So the first thing that was in the box was the shirt plate that's where the shirt rests when you're screen printing, the next was a tool to tighten the screws when setting up and the arms.

The arms are to hold screens; they have these little pieces to clamp down on the screens so they don't move or shift when screen printing. The next and last that was in the box was the base, the base has holes on it to hold the arms and it has a swivel so that it rotates around. I would definitely say that having a four color one station press is much better than having a one color one station press. The obvious reason is that it can hold more screens, but also because the base can rotate left and right, the process of doing client and personal projects are much easier and quicker because of it.

One of my first screen printings i did not have emulsion i didn't even have a exposure unit but i did have adhesive vinyl that did work it came out nice on the shirt. But i would recommend using emulsion over adhesive, first of all you have to weed out the vinyl and if you have a very detailed design that might take while also with emulsion you reuse it from time to time but adhesive evenly your going to have to replace recut and weed it all over again. If have any questions please place your comment below, thanks for reading our blog post and check out the next post.
